    is it possible to “recall” / “cancel” a refund request (after it was authorized, minutes after)


    I want to cancel a game refund request (I want my game back), the refund was immediately authorized after I requested it, I didn’t even had time to cancel it…I really regret having done this instantly after I did it, but I did not have any time to cancel it, refund authorization was immediate. Also, I saw no option to cancel it anyways.

    I would really appreciate Microsoft attention to this matter.

    How to cancel a refund request?

    No one here can cancel your refund request as we are all just fellow gamers such as yourself who dont work for Microsoft.

    As stated in the first reply of this post to cancel a refund request you can simply reply to the email that you received after you requested the refund, it's the confirmation refund request email.

    Hi, after you submit your
    refund request    , you should get a confirmation email regarding the submission of your refund request. To cancel the request, reply to the confirmation email requesting cancellation. Hope that helps!

    Hi, to add to the above, it does explicitly say on the
    refund request guide     that after submitting a refund request, to cancel, reply to the confirmation email requesting cancellation. I'd make sure to send that reply email as soon as possible, and then if you do that and the refund does get processed anyway,
    make sure to
    contact support     and let them know that you did send that email as instructed. Hope that helps!

    What you can do is submit a form to the refund team.
