Is it possible to play multiplayer in Forza Horizon 4. If so, how?

Hello, I've Game pass subscription and not the Live Gold. I wanted to play Forza Horizon 4 with my son but I couldn't find any option to start a multiplayer game. Do I need Live Gold to play multiplayer private games? If not, can someone help me how I can
start a private multiplayer game?

If you're trying to play just a 2-player mode, Horizon does not support that. Otherwise, you would need gold and would need to be on separate consoles and you can join each others session from the menu in the game.

Thanks for trying Lester, but none of that helped. Still unable to connect to multiplayer in Forza Horizon 3 or Forza Horizon 4 on PC.

Currently I am playing Forza Horizon 2 to the point where i have all the multiplayer achievements, as i have other games i can play, and i'd rather not get sick of racing games before Forza Horizon 4 comes out.

Thanks! The weird thing is, this issue only happens with series x games. Forza horizon 4 looks perfect. It’s just the new multiplayer halo and Forza Horizon 5.
