Is it possible to pick up Malware through Edge on my XBOX One?

Started watching Star Wars Rebels on Animeflavor ... something I would rather not had to do ...but I really wanted to see the first episodes... but I kept seeing all those ads and things and I started worrying ...

Xbox one elite purchased 30/1/16 has virus

Both the Xbox One OS and Edge on Xbox One are in lock down. You could go to the most nastiest virus, malware infested website on the web and your console still won't get a virus.

Anyway to get malware on your xbox 360?

If it connected to the internet it possible to be targeted. To gain access to network and sniff traffic etc. They have found malware infecting even fridges and smart TV'S. Why not Xbox 360.. A teen mad malware in india for the kinect

There's no pop-up blocker, so you'll see the ads and such. To my knowledge the Edge browser can't download files, so it would be pretty difficult to get malware - I'm not going to say impossible, but I've never heard of a case of it happening.

As far as I have seen, Malware and Adware are not compatible with the Xbox One system, So you should be fine.

Thanks a lot ... I was just worried because of the interactions I see with windows 10 and Xbox 1 ... I was thinking that maybe they were actually the same OS ... with the same weaknesses...

There is no possibility your console is corrupted by malware. Edge in fact is specifically crippled to prevent it. There is no way to check for malware on the console.
