Is it possible to move a gamertag to another Microsoft account then move a different gamertag ...

What the title says, I'd like to use my old gamertag with the same Microsoft account I use to sign into windows 8

So then there is no way to attach a Microsoft account to a gamertag that currently without one?

Also, is it possible to just move save data from one gamertag to another?

Yes that should be possible, but it requires an xbox 360 console and since you want to use a Microsoft Account you already use on a Windows 8 machine, it will require some additional steps, since there most likely already is a xbox live account present on
the MS Account.

You will need to move the xbox live accounts to different MS accounts.

So on the 360 I just move the one currently on my Windows 8 account to another MS account and my old gamertag onto my Windows 8 account right?.

 

Yes, but in order to do that you may need to download that profile to the 360 console first, which will require a 30 day wait time before you can actually move that xbox live account to a different Microsoft Account.

Also be aware that you don't want to use the PC while moving accounts around, since using the windows 8 device could generated a new xbox live account if none is present
