Is it possible to launch a game through cloud if it's installed?

Thank you for the reply. However the only issue with this is that the game I'm trying to launch through cloud doesn't have the cloud icon in my library but it does when I look at it through the gamepass store. In my library instead of showing the gamepass and cloud icon it just shows the name of the game and "owned"

Regardless if it's installed or not, as long as your current region supports cloud gaming, you'll see a "cloud" icon for the game. You can try going to game pass library.

You should also have game pass Ultimate and if the subscription is only being shared with you through Home, please note that cloud isn't shareable and only limited to games and gold.

I do not have the Xbox (Beta) app installed at home nor was I instructed to install it when I installed the game through the Microsoft Store. I've pinned The Outer Worlds app in my taskbar to launch the game subsequently.

Just to make sure that I understand, I purchased the full game ($65) from the Microsoft Store, and not the monthly subscription, Xbox Game Pass for PC. Is saving to the cloud not possible if I bought the game from the Microsoft Store? When I first launched
the game and was instructed to sign into my Microsoft account, it sure made it seem like cloud saves were the purpose for that.

Ive never played this game in the cloud.

I installed this game through the xbox app and on the first time launch on any platform had this problem.

I have since tried to install it on the xbox itself to see if the cloud data was actually syncing and there is no cloud data.

It does not appear that this app has ever successfully connected to the cloud.
