Is it possible to get a refund from a subscription?

For a little context, I had a Minecraft realm that I paid for so my long-distance girlfriend and I had something to do while we were in quarantine. I got it in January of 2021 and it worked for a couple of months. Then, around March, it unexpectedly stopped working so I cancelled it (or so I thought) and created a new one. It wasn't until recently when I looked at my statement that I had realized that I had been paying for two realms (the one that worked, and the one that didn't work). I went in and cancelled the subscriptions immediately discovering this but I would like to get my money back for the realm that I couldn't play on. Is this possible? If so, who do I need to contact (I have tried phone calls but unfortunately, the call sent me here)?

Actually, the only means to get a refund if it does not auto-refund you is to submit a request via

Request an Xbox digital product or subscription refund. After you submit a request, you should receive an email from the refund department concerning whether or not you were eligible. If it is denied, the only means to possibly dispute that is to reply
to that email.

You can cancel the subscription by navigating to your Microsoft account, going to subscriptions and ending the subscription of your game pass. But I am not sure you will get a refund, some services do offer refunds so it could be possible.

You can try submitting a refund request however, since the purchase was made 1 month ago it is out of the refund time
period (14 days) so it may not be possible to get a refund.

You can try requesting a refund by following the steps listed here however in game currency purchases such as vbucks are all typically non refundable because as soon as they are purchased they are placed in the in game account of which ever game the currency was meant for and Microsoft has no way to take it back from you once that happens. So its very possible the refund would get denied but you can try
