Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable this feature. The Xbox Wireless Headset is primarily designed to be used with Xbox consoles, the auto power on feature is provided for convenience.

A workaround is unplugging your Xbox when it's not in use, however this would mean games and system updates won't be installed automatically when the console is powered off.

2. Connect the headset to your console using the USB cable.
3. Turn on your console manually using the Xbox button on the console.
4. Once the console is turned on, disconnect the USB cable from the headset.

This should disable the automatic turn-on feature of the headset.

You can disable automatic updates. This is a check box option in the Power & Startup section. Go to Settings, Power & Startup, and unselect the box Automatically download updates and purchases. You can also set it where your console does not turn off
the storage when the Xbox is turned off. I suspect that you have it set to turn off the xbox after 1 hour of activity and then you have it set to turn off the storage when the xbox is turned off and that this is causing your issue.
