Is it possible to delete backwards compatible game patches/updates?

Discus and support Is it possible to delete backwards compatible game patches/updates? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm trying to use an old glitch on Mass Effect 2 which requires a default to the game's original state on the disc, without the patch.     Is it possible to delete backwards compatible game patches/updates?


    I'm trying to use an old glitch on Mass Effect 2 which requires a default to the game's original state on the disc, without the patch. I already tried uninstalling it then reinstalling it offline, but it won't work because some GENIUS thought it would be
    a good idea to only allow players to install BC games while online... Does anyone know a work around for this?

    Backward compatibility

    Unfortunately not all games are backwards compatible. Not games on this is will play - Xbox One Backward Compatibility Games are still being added,
    so it is possible any games that are not currently compatible will be compatible in the future.

    Cloud Saves : Backward Compatibility : Syncing issues between Xbox One and XBox 360

    Currently it is only possible to use the cloud for backwards compatible game saves.

    Hi, no there is no workaround for this. You have to be online to install a backward compatible game, due to the fact that it is the full backward compatible game that downloads from Xbox Live, not just the patch, this is because the game also includes the
    emulator to be able to play the game on the Xbox One.

    Since it is a backwards compatible title, sometimes there are updates to the game specifically that apply towards the backwards compatible features. It might not be an update to the game itself. So if there was no news or details on updates from Rockstar
    than it might be a patch from Microsoft to better emulate the title on the Xbox One.

    When they stop providing support that will include downloading updates/patches/dlc that is not compatible with their next console. Look what happened with the old Xbox. Only a handful of games were made backwards compatible with the 360.

    Any updates that are posted to the game will be for backwards compatibility issues.

    Any in-game bugs won't be patched now as the game it quite old, and the studio that made the game no longer exists sadly.
