    Defrag not working after June 2012 Update

    After the last dashboard update in June 2012, the defrag option don't wokr anymore.

    How do i defrag the hard disk?

    I have a WD Elements 5TB external hard drive. Like a computer, I know it's essential to Defrag the hard drive for performance. My question is: is there a way to Defrag my external hard drive for my Xbox One? I am noticing a little bit of slow down,
    especially load times on games.

    Hi

    I have never seen the option to carry out a hard drive defrag in any of the menus on the console. In addition to this I'm not sure the hard drive on the console actually required defragmenting.

    Defragment hard drive

    All HDD or SSD drives that you use to save games on Xbox One consoles are formatted with a proprietary format. You will be unable to defrag those drives because there is no utility to do so for this Xbox proprietary format.

    I think that used to clear an update. There has never been an option to defrag the hard drive.
