    So for example: If my gamertag says "xBOX" and I want to change it to "XBOX". Is this possible?

    I was wondering if it possible to change the lower case / upper case letters?

    My GT as you can see is currently aVeRsioN X - I was wondering if I could easily change it to Aversion X and if so, how?

    Letter in gamertag went from lower case to upper case and I can't change it back

    For this, you'd have to contact phone support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) to see when or why it changed. They may be able to fix it for your, or at least refund you a name change. Unfortunately
    no one here on the forums can do anything about this particular issue.

    You would have to change your gamertag to something else and then change it back. You would have to pay each time.

    But this doesnt guarantee that my same gamertag would be available when I change it back?

    Would all my stats, profile, gamerscore etc. go back to zero?

    If someone were to snag it in between changes, then yes, it may not be available again.

    Changing your gamertag would not affect anything else on your account.

    If someone were to snag it in between changes, then yes, it may not be available again.
