Is it possible to chance the email on xbox account

If I can swap the email on the desired Xbox account to the email of the undesired Xbox account then there is no need for Epic to change anything because the undesired email is currently associated with that Epic account... They don't seem to be capable
or unwilling to update the database values.

To be clear I have:

Xbox account 1 with email 1 [desired account]

Xbox account 2 with email 2

Epic account with an undesired Xbox account associated with email 2 (Xbox account 2)

I want to update Xbox account 1 to have email 2 and don't care what happens to Xbox account 2.

Your instructions have update the email then delete the account but, there is little chance that could work because two different Xbox accounts will be pointing to the same email...Doubt if that is possible.

Is it possible to delete the undesired Xbox account and then reassign the desired Xbox account's email to the undesired's email address?


in my example:

delete Xbox account 2 update Xbox account 1 with email 2

Now Epic association with email 2 points to the desired Xbox account 1 updated to email 2...

Oh okay. Because the first link you have visited was for Xbox. So there's a possibility that you purchased the Xbox version from that particular account you're using for Xbox gaming. There's a chance that you have another Microsoft/Xbox account where you purchased the Windows version. Kindly check your other emails or accounts because your other games maybe purchased from there.

Yes, the sooner you contact Microsoft directly, the higher chance of possibly getting your stuff back. try and do a password recovery on your live account on the computer. see if they changed the password or the email and password.

By any chance, do you have another account that you subscribed to a monthly subscription before? Its possible that you set your email as the billing email of this other account so you received the renewal notification.

But I also recommend trying to contact support so they could check your account. Its possible that you have another subscription running at the same time. They should be able to check all this details using there tools.

Just file complaint and block communications. People have been suspended/banned for doing these threats. Getting hacked is completely old and never happens. The chances of actually getting your account taken on Xbox Live is a very high fat chance. Unless
you're using the same email/password on EA accounts. Then it's rather possible if they're actually smart enough.
