Is it possible to buy XBOX systems and accessories with your XBOX account money?

I am currently in a situation, where I need to know whether I can use the money on my XBOX account to buy an XBOX system and an accessory, from the XBOX Store.

(without using my PayPal-money or bank account balance).

Here's the question:

Can I use the money, that is on my XBOX account, to purchase an XBOX system and an accessory from the XBOX Store?

(I ask, because there is a category for those items, when the store is opened through an XBOX ONE).

(It's just another category, of the store, as are those for "Movies and TV" and "Music").

I think this is the main point he is trying to get across.

It is possible. You now have the option to remove Credit Card info from your Xbox Account on Xbox.com . Their used to be a catch that there must always be a valid Credit/Debit card still on your systems information.

Simply go to Xbox.com -> Account -> Manage Payment Options -> Remove CC.

it currently isn't possible to buy xbox live gold with the currency on your account, it can be used to buy games, movies, dlc, avatar items etc.

There is no info available if it will be possible in the future

 

Did you do so before?

(buying systems or accessories through the xbox store)

 

I haven't, but the ability was added to the Microsoft Store about a year ago.

 

If you really want to test it out go to Microsoftstore.com and go through the process of picking which xbox you want and accessories you want then when it comes time to checkout it should give you the option to either use your account balance or not when
selecting payment option which i just did myself and it did show that i could use the account balance and if you dont see the option then you can cancel the order without finishing it.
