    Is it possible to buy a controller for the xbox where the a, b, y and x button are positioned on the left hand side rather than the right for someone with only the left hand to use. Many thanks

    Xbox elite controller y, b,a, x, no lights 1

    There is no lights on the a,b,x,y buttons on the Elite controller. The only light is the Xbox button, when you turn the console on.

    If you are using a Windows 10 PC you could try installing the Xbox Accessories app on your PC and then use it to temporally remap the B button to either the A, X or Y on your controller to see if responds any better as this highlight a possible controller
    fault.

    It's a gamertag mod, if you go into CoD4 people put A B X and Y's in their tag that are copies of the buttons on your Xbox controller.
