Is it possible to add a new email to am account without verification from the current email?

It is first necessary to regain access to that previous account.

From there you can use a new email address to recover your account and have the Microsoft team contact you.

Just so that we are on the same page here.

A1= old account with old email

A2= New account with new unwanted gamertag.

As long as A2 is not a Microsoft (MS) server email (outlook, Hotmail, live, msn.com) it is possible to move that email to A1. There is some moving around that would need to be done but it is possible.

The ONLY thing this is going to do is change the email that is used to sign into your MS account.

Again so that we are on the same page you signed up for game pass on A1 correct?

ONLY FOLLOW these directions if A2 is NOT a MS server email if you follow these directions and remove A2 from the current MS account it is on it will be gone forever and never be able to be gotten back.

1. Sign into A2 at account.live.com/addassocid and verify ownership of account.

2. Choose add a new (outlook account) this is just adding a new email to this account so we can free up A2s current email.

3. Make new dummy email the primary email on A2.

4. Remove the email that you want on A1 This will free up that email as long as it is not a MS server email to be put on A1.

5. Sign out of A2.

6. Sign into A1 at account.live.com/addassocid and verify account.

7. Choose add an existing email put in the email that you just removed from A2 it will send a verification code in an email to that email to verify that you have ownership and access to that email.

You can then make that email the primary email for the MS account for A1 and if you want you can remove that old email from the account or leave it on there it does not matter.

Again this is only changing the email used to sign into the account with everything else will be the same as far as Billing info, subscriptions, security proofs (were verification codes are sent to).

If they have already setup another xbox profile/MS account and want to move the account and info to their other account it is not possible.

What is possible is to change what email address is associated with an account.

Before I give you directions on how to do that you want to keep this in mind.

IF the current email on the account is a MS server email (@hotmail.com, @msn.com, @live.com, @outlook.com) and you follow the directions im about to give you it will delete the email FOREVER and you will not be able to get it back.

Following these directions will ONLY change the email address used to sign into the account with any verification email addresses, passwords, billing options, and stuff like that will not change although once you change the email then your son can go in
there and add his own information to the account.

Now for the directions.

1. Sign into the account at account.live.com/addassocid it may ask for you to verify ownership of your account by sending a verification code out. This will bring up a page with two options.

1. Create a new email (outlook.com) email This will create a new outlook email for you.

2. Add an existing email address (non MS server email like Gmail, yahoo, or ISP email) You can add one of these as long as it is not already attached to another MS account. If you choose this one it will send a verification email to
that email address to make sure you do have access to it.

2. Choose which one you want to do and add that email as an alias to the account.

3. Make the new email the primary email on the account.

4. Remove the old email from the account (Remember if you STILL use this email DO NOT delete it because you will LOSE it FOREVER)

5. Once these steps are done ANY console your son has his account on he would have to remove the account from the console then go in and add it back with the new email address.

Remember this will only change the email used to sign in with the account once the email is changed your son can go onto account.live.com and change the password and security proofs and name and payment options on the account.
