Is it possible to accept a digital gift from another country

So I have a friend in Canada and I live in the U.S.A and usually for bdays or special occasions well gift each other DLC's for a game we play but is there anyway we could accept it without us having to give each other our profiles to accept it?

Afraid not.Digital gifting on xbox is region locked & there's no way around that.

Also,giving someone else access to your account is against the ToU/CoC & could lead to enforcement action.

You'd be better off buying a code or something from a U.S. store & give that to your friend.

You can buy a digital game as a gift as long as it is not for another country

Gifting through Xbox is region locked. So you cannot send a gift to a friend in another country. You would have to purchase it from another retailer for that country.
