LOL dude you are way paranoid but don't worry about something that can be easily hacked like your phone. Your phone they can listen to every call ( supposedly) and they can track your gps..oh noes.. Kinect can't be reandomly hacked or we'd see videos of
Kinect one. First they have to hack into the xbox one then gain access to the Kinect. It's possible but very very slimly possible LOL(i'd be almost willing to bet it wont happen.). Your cell phone would be an easier hack.

To all the nay sayers: yes it is totally possible for Kinect to be used for surveillance. It could be hacked or used by anyone if try know what to do. People have had their webcams hacked and there are official reports where the RIAA tapped into someone's
laptop and took an image of their face in order to have the official identity of someone they suspected of downloading music.

Just let that sink in.

I think this "Kinect is a security risk" argument is total BS.

Sure a person who can maybe possibly someday one time hack into your kinect and see what you do is creepy.

I would be more worried about that same person getting my CC info, home address, email, full name etc. you know, the information that could actually ruin my life. Lets be honest. If they hacked your kinect they hacked your entire account and at that point
being seen should be the least of your worries.

Thats not possible, Xbox Consoles and Kinects can not be accessed from outside sources. Nobody would be able to "hack" into your Kinect. If your having issues with your kinect then have a look through the support section of xbox.com for troubleshooting.
