Is it OK to suck?

Play the Commander role and never go negative.

 

Never tried the commander role yet.

 

Go for it. The multiplayer doesn't rely on kills to get your score up (if that's your thing), do the class thing with ammo/medic bags and go for objectives. I mostly stick with the squad and act as spotter. I do this by drawing every bullet in the vicinity
to me, making the enemy show up on the mini-map, then respawning while my squad mates deal with them lol. The main thing is to have fun. I play during the day in the week while the superhuman killing machines are at school/work and it's a bit easier mostly.

 

Getting close to unlocking last of the Phantom bow assignments. Then have to look for the hidden dog tags in the last stand maps. Then on my way to the elevator ride for the bow. Was working on the last of the main tank kills. Then EA servers went down
for maintenance.

 

Same as Vibroluxor im 55 and dont play a lot but still have a great time playing........ sometimes i only get a couple of kills and die 12-15 times.... but I usually end up in the middle of the pack for points and rarely am at the bottom. Capturing
and defending scores points and also being support and taking out tanks and armored vehicles is fun and rewarding as well as part of being a team........ not everyone needs to be running around getting 30 kills.

anyway, yeah OP it's ok to "suck" or be inexperienced .....it's your game play it your way, it's always nice however when someone plays for the objective and plays their class (engineer-fixes/destroys vehicles, support-lays down suppressing fire/drops ammo
bla bla bla) ....ultimately though, just play with your friends and have fun man

 

Test grounds is the best place to tune your skills. Trying weapons and vehicles at you own pace.

 

Battlefield is fun, so it´s okay to suck. Eventually you get hang of it. And it´s team based game, so K/D dont tell anything. Good squad also helps a lot, everything is a lot easier.

 

Commander Is pretty cool put but get boring.

 

This is great advice. I suck at these kinds of games but after watching some youtube videos I'm encouraged to pick the game up. I enjoy playing as the medic class if anyone wants some help. I'm a noob but willing to learn.

 

I like Commander better on Tablet than on the actual game. The game seems weird after playing the Tablet version. They play different.

 

I wonder if the commander slot is always taken? If I'm gonna play Battlefield 4 I would rather play Commander or maybe drive tanks. My coordination is pretty crap for shooter games. I would probably end up getting killed faster then I could react lol.

 

Didn't realize I had to be rank 10 in order to be commander. Bummer.

 

I think everyone else said it already... it's about having fun.
