Is it ok for the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller's battery health to be left on the dock...

According to the charging section of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, under the section titled "How to care for your controller's battery":

• The controller can be plugged in indefinitely if you prefer to play with a wired connection. This won’t affect your battery even if it’s at 100%.
  

Does this apply to the dock as well?

Is it ok to dock the controller after every use, even though it charges the battery each time? (i.e. will this negatively effect the battery health?)
