Is it my internet or is it Xbox?? Help me please.

Me and a friend have never been able to connect and play games over XBL. We both have Open NAT so it isn't a NAT problem. we have manual port forwarded and can't connect. We have called Xbox support to try and figure out the problem and they couldn't figure
it out. My friend changed internet providers to the same one i have and we still are unable to connect, we can't join parties or games. For the past 3 years we have had to have a friend host to play together. I am have no idea what our problem is. Any help
would be appreciated.

Is it me, or the Internet?

Having all kinds of trouble logging in here. Keep jumping back to the home page. Unable to enter my password. Seriously, I've checked the Xbox Live status, everything is normal. I've tried everything from restarting to asking the game shop for help, some
said that it's the server's fault. Any ideas? Solutions? Or am I just gonna wait....

Help me please

If it's blinking, it usually means it's still downloading while off, or powering something. It's possible that your internet is just extremely slow right now so the system is taking forever to get it.
