    If you are looking for a straight answer, then, I would say, yes, it would be illegal and against terms of conditions.

    This code can't be redeemed. It was purchased in a different region from your account.

    Guyana is not a supported Xbox region, and you cannot access online services as Microsoft is not possess the legal right to sell your games in your country

    so that would be the route of your problem. No VPN, region changes or other attempts to bypass the restrictions are allowed, and can lead directly to account and hardware bans

    You cannot change the region of the Gamertag because of legal reasons. The ability to change was removed when people were moving between regions and getting content that was not allowed to be sold in their region which was creating a legal mess.

    If a region gets a different game offered with games with gold than every other region then it's for a reason,usually licensing or legal reasons.

    If a game is not available in your region it's not available for the same reasons.

    Changing your region or location to get around these legal reasons is a violation of the ToU/CoC.

    It's been this way for as long as there's been a xbox marketplace/store.

    trueachievements is not an official Microsoft site so take anything you read there with a pinch of salt.
