Is it just me or ...

Are Microsoft a little dishonest ALL the time. Using cheap tricks to dupe you out of your money, freebies etc.

While they boast of two free games a month, its a hard push to actually find these games, yes there will be a picture in a panel somewhere on the dashboard, but it wont say free across it.

The 2 games a month is actually ONE AT A TIME, which isnt quite the same.

Rewards points are hidden away too, not to mention the benefits of joining Xbox rewards dont come automatic when you join Xbox Live, no you have to join rewards separately, why though? Why would anyone choose to join Xbox Live and not want to be part of
something else completely free?

Cheap tricks, more akin to a fly-by-night market dealer than a corporation.

Is it Just Me or....

I think just as much as being a red dot on the map, and being invisible to air support, the red gamertag that ghost pro takes away saves on a lot of deaths.





I dont know how many times before I'd unlock ghost pro, I'd be leaving a spawn area or be with a couple teammates for some reason ( which I try to avoid ) and get picked off while the other teammates dont even get hit.





I play mostly hc mode, so the minimap isnt always there ....... but when you look at a player with no gt, it usually tales a little longer to make the decision to fire ......... maybe just a split second, but in hardcore thats really all you have anyhow.

 

Is it Just Me or....

I honestly only use ghost in ffa and that's when there's like 5 people using spyplanes. If it's just a spy plane or two every minute, then I'm fine without it.

 

How is getting one free game at a time any different? Your still getting 2 free games per month.The free games are extremely easy to find by clicking on the Games for Gold tile.

 

The games for gold icons are on the dashboard,all the time.

If they are not on the very first page,they are certainly in the games section.

The "games for gold" title clearly means they are free,why do they need an extra banner?

2 free games per month is what they offer,thats exactly what they give,one at a time.

xbox Rewards is a separate programme,run by a different bunch of people.

Basically,yes it is just you that thinks this way.

2 games per month, its not its 1 game every 2 weeks. At the end of 2 weeks they no longer offer it.

Furthermore right now I can download Saints Row, if I notice its free, or if I want to - or didnt notice- I can BUY IT via this site, as its listed at £16.99 to download, with no mention of it being free for Xbox Live members.

With regards to Rewards, I didnt know it was a seperate company, but eitherway you are still avoiding the simple question, why havent Microsoft done it automatically, who actually wouldnt want it??

Basically I get two games a month "free" if I remember to look for them each fortnight and I get reward points if I remember to register for them. If they cant make it automatic, couldnt they send a simple email or PM on the Xbox ?

Saints row 3 is clearly marked on this website as free for gold members.

Its quite incredible that even though you know about all these offers, you are complaining that you might not know about them????

To be fair I thought you would be able to understand the simple point that the words "all the time" are the part leading to the contradiction. You have chosen to quote a completely different part of your
own sentence to remain obtuse, helpful and progressive.

The key to understanding might be looking at your use of the word "might".

Its also not a contradiction because as you say there is the "might" part to consider. If, for example, I said "these offers are always on display, if they are not...." then that would be a contradiction mate,
as they cant be "always" and "if".

Clearly a group of fanboys, just what Xbox needs, grow up gents and I might take your point seriously. "games for gold" means free no more than "games for xbox" and here is a picture of my dashboard where its "clearly" not there ;

Games for gold has been going for probably more than a year now,everyone knows the games are free INCLUDING YOU.

The games for gold icon is ALWAYS on the dashboard somewhere,if you can`t be bothered pressing a couple of buttons to find it,then thats your loss.

 

I could live for a billion years and in those billions of years of life and mental consciousness, I still wouldn't be able to comprehend the art of complaining about FREE stuff.

Secondly Im not "new" Ive been a member on Xbox since 2008 ! Paying monthly to use Xbox Live, until recently.

Thirdly I tried to post up 2 images one is the Home page on the dashboard and the second is the "games" section on the dashboard, neither have what you say is there.

As for it ALWAYS being there, its not, as my photos would show.

As for "cant be bothered stuff", the sad thing is that my personality wasnt up for discussion, you just went there to avoid the simple fact that Microsoft DO hide things away, no matter how often you say otherwise.

Why dont you look back at the first post? I asked why is it hidden away and your finishing your reply with saying its not AND Im too lazy to go look for it?? Cant be both.

Games for gold logo is right there on my dashboard,its right there on the first page of this website,its right there on emails sent to your inbox,its published on twitter,facebook and major nelsons blog.

You know games for gold exists,you know the games are free,if it was somehow hidden,which its not,is it that hard for you to spend 1 minute of your time to get yourself some free stuff???

The time its took you ranting on here,you could have found every free game on the marketplace.

If you come onto a microsoft site with a "i hate microsoft" attitude,its going to get noticed.
