Is it just me or is ALL of xbox broken currently?

I know looking at the service status it says it's just Core Services (ie, signing in) and Purchase/Usage (ie, buying things) but it seems like EVERYTHING is broken, I managed to sign in but I can't access the settings, already installed games, party system,
friends list, pretty much everything including core systems that are preload OS "apps". Is there a time or estimated fix time for this problem, or do we just sit around and do nothing while wondering if it will get fixed.

But that is every game devs answer to glitches they think oh let's just ship the game get the money in our bank, instead of paying good gamers to test their games, they just ship the game and say oh we will patch it later, it's not good enough! not when
they make 1 billion from us in the first week... most people will have finished the game before the patch comes out

LCN is affected by in-game events, such as completing Lester's assassination targets to drive up/down stocks specific to that market. The BAWSAQ is affected by GTA5 players worldwide, and changes based on how everyone else (linked to Social Club) are reacting
to products in their own game! Ex: Destroying cars made by Maibatsu lowers their stock, just as certain insurance companies go down due to property damage.

So on that note, could some of you please do something to increase my shares in Pißwasser?

Unfortunately there is no estimated time frame as to when this service alert will be lifted. Core services being down does affect more that Signing in and Purchases so what you are experiencing is common for this type of alert. What you can do is get notified
once the alert is over. Visit our
Xbox live status site and click on "Notify me" to receive a text message once this all blows over.

What doesn't make sense? It's just not something that the xbox is currently designed to do. It's not something that is broken.

Hi. Thank you for trying to help me through the issue, but its still happening. ive tried everything i could find. everything is up to date and ive tried restoring the gamebar but nothing is working

Hi Aaron viney,

Thank you for writing to Xbox Community Forums.

We understand that you are having issues on joining parties with friends. It will give you an unknown cause of error which lead you to be out from the party screen of your friends without you recognizing it. They can see that you left on their screen and you cannot hear each other anymore.

This problem normally occurs due to an instability with the service. Try this procedure, and if that doesn't work, we advise waiting for a while.

First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:
Open Settings > Update and Security and then Update Windows;
Go to Check for Updates;
Go to Download and Install Now option, if available;

After doing the above, Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox Gamebar > click on it and select advanced options.

After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.
