    Is it just me, or has the deals with Gold been GARBAGE lately on the 360?


    I've been seeing a pretty good pattern with sales recently, and the last few months... They've either been the same games over and over again on sale like, Call of Duty, Rockstar publisher games, Bethesda games like Fallout 3, games that were given away
    for free for having a gold subscription ironically enough you need to have to get the deals, or just games that are pure crap that no one wants and lack online co-op, multiplayer, or just online period, and are still wildly over priced for 360 games that aren't
    even backwards compatible to justify the price either full, or reduced...

    There is two games this week that are for sale we got free. Brothers, and Terraria...

    3 games last week (and not the first time being on sale after being given away...) being, Darksiders II, Dirt 3, and Dirt Showdown.

    Red Faction: Guerilla the week before!

    Shocktober: Dead Space, and Dungeon Defenders... The week before that, Tomb Raider, and Lara Croft and
    the Guardian of Light    ! The list goes on...

    There was even a big sale where it seemed about 50-75% were given away for FREE! Just found it actually!

    It was the Xbox "Super Sale" the week before all the Tomb Raider deals. Those games include, Boarderlands, Dead Space, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Dungeon
    Siege III    , Just Cause 2, Mafia
    II    , Metro 2033, Metro:
    Last Light    , Mirror’s Edge, Saints
    Row IV    , Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution, Sleeping
    Dogs    , SSX, Super
    Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition    , Supreme Commander 2, and Thief.

    I also do realize, that some sales like the Super sale don't entirely need a gold account to get the deals, but my point still stands about these over recycled sales, especially the ones on games given away for free... This also been within a whole month! I'm
    expecting the same thing from the upcoming Black Friday deals...

    For the love of God! let's get some verity in these deal lineups! I have money I want to give away to Publishers, developers, and Microsoft still on my account from like 2-3 months ago... Also, just to state, there has been some decent deals, but not enough
    for me. I've managed to get Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisin, for like $7, and managed to pickup the longtime wanted Rayman Legends pretty cheap too. Too bad I missed Dragonball Xenoverse for $10...

    £59.99 for watchdogs is a joke

    The store near me hasn't been to bad lately, it varies from game to game but they have had some good deals of the week lately and a pretty good pre owned price for various games but yeah i usually go Tesco, can't beat the big boys when it comes to pricing
    and deals, just waiting for the right game + gold time deal to crop up or a big price slash for a day or two, failing all that i'll wait on the pre owned copies coming in and losing value which i can see happening with this game pretty quick, especially with

    So whats the point of this thread? That we should DEAL WITH IT? Seems to be the MS catchphrase lately the fanbase has been using to deal with critics.Seriously it is this exact "Deal with it" attitude which is hurting MS right now.Why MS fans have adopted
    this same stance baffles me because its hurting MS as much as MS is hurting MS.

    Hello there @JadenMecham, I hope everything is going well!

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I am sorry to know about the console situation; However, I believe your console might need just a system refresh to perform the system update successfully. I would like you to go through the following steps to perform a quick power cycle.

    I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

    If you are still getting the same issue, I would like you please to kindly follow the instructions below to physically reset your console:

    - Turn off the console unplug all the cables then re-plug them back again.

    - Since the console is an all digital one, click on the "Bind" button, after 10 seconds click the home "X" button just once without letting go of the button. Throughout the whole process you will hear two beep sounds and end up with a troubleshooting page. On your screen. You will need to select the "Reset this Xbox" option and choose "Reset and keep my games and apps".

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    In case all previously mentioned troubleshooting steps weren't helpful, the next solution would be to perform an offline system update. In the link below you will be directed to everything you need to know about the offline update and how to run it.
