Is it just me or does this game look like.....

Is it just me or does this game look like Halo with a Halloween costume on? Also you would think Bungie would have pushed a little harder for Xbox owners as far extras are concerned, considering all the money they have mad off of us. Not to mention that
Halo would not have been the success that it was with out Microsoft backing them.

Yea its a lot shorter, I had over 60 hours in the single player for brotherhood but it only took me 24 hours get get 100% sync in revelations. Dont get me wrong this game was good but its not even close to being on par with brotherhood.

Don't get me wrong I loved the game, I think the story was way better then in Brotherhood and tied into AC's overall story better, and the story seem more coherent then brotherhood's. It just seemed a lot sorter then the other games in the series. It could
be that I was so into the story I have a broken sense of time, the credits just seemed to roll before I even knew it. Does anyone else feel this way.

 

Agree! I think its the PS4 owners who are really excited for this game (have nothing else to play) The beta felt like a poor mans Halo.

 

It feels like an open-world halo game. But in my opinion it's going to be great and dont have a problem with those extra stuff for playstaition. I think the stuff they get is not the best and if they get better ships or clothing the dont even use it anymore

 

so more crying about Sony paying extra $ for extra content?

 

Yes, it looks more like an updated Halo game. I played Halo 3 for 2 years, probably because it was the only good online FPS at the time, but I am no longer interested in futuristic shooters so it will be a pass for me on this game.

 

Bungie makes the game.... Activision does the pushing. Sony gave them a sh**-ton of money for some exclusive rights. I don't blame Bungie or Activision, that is how business works.

 

Look like a more expensive version of Warframe....

And quite happy that Microsoft didn't spend ressources for this 3rd party game.

 

The Destiny demo looked and played like Halo with a good measure of Borderlands play mechanics and the flavor of Mass Effect.

 

Looks a lot like and playing a lot like Halo is neither surprising nor a bad thing. Counting down the hours til I can play this.

 

I had not really thought much about the Halo look or feel but I guess it does. I was watching a little of a live stream and everybody that looked kept asking me if this was the new Halo. I had to tell them it was Destiny. So it seems a lest some see Halo
in it.

 

It's no secret. Bungie said that when you picked up he controller you would know that you were playing a Bungie game.

Yes, it does feel and look like Halo...it feels/ plays like Reach, specifically...which also makes sense because it was the last title they developed, prior to handing the reigns over to 343. Everything, from the more muted color palette, to the enemy armor/
designs reminds me of Reach. You can definitely tell that they took what they learned up to Reach, and carried it over to Destiny.

 

The amount of devs that are involved and how much man hours went into this game, that alone makes me want to explore and play destiny. True, the beta was a bit shallow but as most games like these go, it takes a while to build up and have some real fun.
So, im hoping this is a great game lol.

 

I don't know if it was Bungie. I have a feeling it was probably an Activision deal. It was a deal between Activision and Sony that would not allow Microsoft to advertise Destiny for the Xbox platform.
