It's pretty cool. The campaign definately deserves a play, too. As for the MP, don't believe all of the "lone-wolves can't make it" stuff you'll likely read around these forums, either. You can go "lone-wolf" all you want in GRFS and still come out on top.
It really depends on what you choose to do. You can play it however you want and, as long you stay focused on the objectives, you'll win. GRFS is more fun to play with friends and it's a whole lot easier, but you're not going to lose every game if you don't
have anyone to play with or you just don't feel like talking to your teammates. People say that teamwork and communication are the keys to winning. That's only true if you're really a part of the team. When I'm playing alone, I'm not a part of the team in
that sense. I'm on the team, but I'm not a part of it. I'm operating by myself and doing my own thing to secure the objective. I'll help people who need help and I'll ask for help when I need it, but that's as far as I go. I've got my plans and they don't
include anyone else. Even if you don't play as a "lone-wolf", I thought I'd come in from that angle to help you get a fair view of the game and show that you can play how you want.

i really like the coop campaign and the gorilla mode but the multiplayer is hit or miss for me, mostly due to connection issues. over all it's fun.

Giving the game away for free is a good move.

 

Good marketing really. Will draw a lot of attention without a lot of effort. But they could definitely have to pay a hefty sum of money. Not worth it really. And if they are worried about sales numbers (most companies are) and falling behind by some
much early on they would be better off taking the hit on a price cut. That way they could recover the money with content sales.

No denying that they started off great and have fallen off a lot. Data shows that World Wide they have even fallen behind WiiU. That is not a good thing at all. And these countries they are getting ready to launch is typically do not account for much
in terms of sales either. That will not be much of a boost. And considering the similar priced PS4 has been there for a while with the biggest games (outside a few exclusives) the markets are not prime for a lot of unit sales either. And adding a game is
nice. But the cost is the same so you lose that factor. Sure the game adds value but that is if the person wants said game. There is also the perception. The lower base price of the console can be psychological for a lot of consumers.

 

It's a bit of both. It can draw in the consumer who has been flipping the coin on which system to get which is the smart marketing.

It can be perceived a bit desperate due to the disparity in the amount of consoles sold vs their competition in order to close the gap some.

I think it's a little bit of both as well. But definitely good marketing, in my opinion. Who ever came up with the idea and design, should get a promotion.
