Is it common for the xbox to freeze for scrolling too fast?

For the past few days, I noticed when I'm skipping through sections with the LB/RB buttons at the dashboard, the xbox will just freeze at random. Has anyone else been having dashboard freezing issues lately? I hope this is only a minor issue and not a bad
sign for the hardware. It's a 4gb slim and it's about a few years old since I bought it.

Xbox one controller analogue stick is faulty

My second controller for Xbox one and the analogue stick on the left keeps scrolling through options or makes character wonder. What to do for repair how much or if I buy a new controller will there be improved so you don't get this prob anymore. It has
to be a common problem right?

At parts of the game, the game is known to freeze. Is there any news about a fix for it? It is a common problem. Great game.
