    Hello everyone,

    I would like to know if its against the TOS of Microsoft/Xbox to transfer a save game file from a game i already own on my Steam account to my Windows10/Xbox app account to use with Xbox game pass ultimate, i manually transfered the save game file from my Steam folder to the Windows10/Xbox folder with the help of videos and reddit, i saw alot of players reporting doing this and noone reported back saying their accounts were banned, but i forgot to see if doing this was against the TOS so i would like to know if i broke the rules of the TOS and if i will get my account banned, i have read the TOS of Microsoft and Xbox multiple times but i didnt find anything directly related to transfering save game files from Steam to the Windows10/Xbox app

    The game that i transfered the save file was Deep Rock Galatic a coop shooter.

    Read the post and you'll see that I said "GTA 5" and "save game". That clearly means it's OFFLINE. Transferring save files is NOT against the ToS, and as a high level Ambassador, YOU should know this.

    The transfer of save files and the downloading of files online to be used in an xbox is against the TOS and can lead to enforcement action being taken against your account and/or console. There is no "work around". As an ambassador, you should know this.

    To also add, Xbox files are not meant to be read by a PC. What you are trying to do is aginst the TOS and can lead to enforcement action on your account. PC Minecraft worlds are not compatible with the Xbox version of Minecraft. If you downloaded the
    files from somewhere, the only way they would work would be with modification which can get you banned. Xbox files (gamertags, game saves, game data etc...) are only meant to be accessed via console. The use of any 3rd party software to add files or modify
    your saves is also against the TOS and can cause you to lose your account.

    its not against the tos really on pc, besides you can get the majority of xbox games on steam where you have access to all the files.

    License Transfer Trouble

    Signing in on an account that isn't yours is against the TOS. Using the License Transfer tool to share content is also against the TOS and can be seen as marketplace theft/fraud and can lead to all accounts and consoles involved being permanently banned
    from Xbox Live.
