    Is FIFA 17 region locked?


    I'm facing massive difficulties while trying to buy FIFA 17 from the India store (my bank's being a real pain apparently), so I'm thinking of switching my region to US to buy this using a gift card (still can't buy a gift card in INR!!). Can I buy FIFA 17
    from the US store, and play it on my xb1 set to India region?

    FIFA 17 on xbox 360 can't get started - region code issue

    Hi,

    I bought FIFA 17 for XBOX 360 from the online store. After downloading it (through the FIFA 17 DEMO game), when I open it i got the following error message: "This disc region code is incorrect for this console". I have a european console. BTW, I can run
    the FIFA 17 demo game, but not the full game. I tried to play with the console locale settings and to download the game again, but it didn't work as well.

    Please do not "resurrect" old threads from last year.

    But to answer your question: FIFA 17 is probably region coded, and the disc can only be played on consoles with the same region as the disc.

    If the disc is a different region than your console, you can't play FIFA 17 from that disc on your console.

    Your only option to get FIFA is to get a physical disk as FIFA Is region locked

    FYI since the cod 2 disks are region locked its probably why its region locked

    Since certain games like FIFA or darksiders has three requirements too

    Account region

    Actual region

    And console region (pal or NTSC )

    if you used out of region points or changed your account region your currency wouldn't have transfered over as they are region locked

    This is something you should've addressed in 2015 not 2016-17
