    I successfully made a character in ship 1 but got access to ship 2 and I couldn't find my character on ship 1 please don't tell me I can't use the same character accross multiple ships

    What character DLC did you received ? the beta unlocks are tied to a save file in the GoW beta game section in your storage device verify if you still have this save.

    You can probably use that melee/explosives character for OWB, Dead Money, Honest Hearts DLC's, especially for Dead Money. I've done one character low intelligence, melee/explosive (to an extent) and had a blast using the tomahawks you get from Honest Hearts.
    Didn't care much for deathclaws/tunnelers in Lonesome Road, so used a .50 cal with exploding bullets to get around.

    If you want to get fancy, try finding the Compliance Regulator in Honest Hearts DLC... then simply tase people, switch to melee/unarmed, then work them over.
