Is Delux Edition Worth It?

I know that the question is subjective, and people will have different opinions...but that's what I'm looking for.

Is the extra $10 worth the few armor pieces, mounts, etc. or do you get just as good of stuff later in the game and it's meaningless after a couple hours?

Deluxe edition upgrade

I was not going to bother with this, with so many other releases this month, and it may be in the vault next year, plus Bioware are not the same people as before, but after playing the trial via EA access it is now a must buy for me.

There is a deluxe edition upgrade bundled with the standard edition. The description seems to imply that we can upgrade a standard edition to the deluxe edition after release day. If that is the case then I may buy the standard edition disc version, and
then get the DLC to upgrade it to the deluxe edition, although the upgrade on its own will probably be more than £10, probably be £20. Then if the game enters the vault next year or sometime, I can then sell the disc.

If the deluxe edition is only going to be available in this bundle, then I may get the digital deluxe edition

Although I wonder if it will be worth it, as may get alternative mounts, weapons, armour etc from playing the game, but not as cool. I have not come across any mounts to acquire yet in my couple of hours play.

It wasn't to me and I am quite the Bioware fanboy. If it had additional content I would have bought it and probably paid a lot. It didn't seem worth it for me.

Usually these items are very useful early on in the game and not so much later, but I have no idea with this game.

 

I have the Flames of the Inquisition weapons and they are easily replaceable early on.You can also get a horse early in the game without any DLC content.

It's mostly a cosmetic stuff, fancier mounts and such.

 

This is exactly the answer I was looking for.

Right now, the price diff 'tween the standard & deluxe is $31.85

Standard, for me anyways, seems to be the best way to go.

The best mount can be acquired in the game, and the weapons and armor you create and upgrade will be the best.
