    Is blocking a tool to instigate problems and troll? Yes and I think it needs to change.


    Is there anyway to make it so that people can't simply block people on a whim? This system is a tool of instigation because earlier I lost friends because people block me for the dumbest of reasons such as pointless arguing. Is there a way we can make it
    so that people can't block for whatever reason? This is a major troll tool that is too exploitable for problem causing and unnecessary drama.

    Being harassed for being a girl and continually team killed and have raunchy comments told to me

    Reporting, blocking and muting are your only tools in this unfortunate situation. There is also the option to change your communication settings to friends only.

    need to change nat from moderate to open

    So I'm trying to connect onto gta online for an open session and it ALMOST never connects. This has been happening for a few months now and I've had this game since April and I haven't had any problems up until a few months ago. My NAT is moderate and
    I have a firewall blocking out a lot of things, and I do not know how to change my NAT to open and/or let gta online bypass the firewall. Please help.

    Anyone can instigate drama, but it's how you deal with it/take yourself out of the situation, that matters.

    As my fellow Ambassadors have already touched on, use the tools available to empower yourself, by blocking or reporting the Gamertag in question. If you retaliate, you will be no different from the person causing the problems in the first place.

    I don't think your idea would help at all. What's the point? Spammers, trolls and online bullies will always be a part of the internet or any online community. It's all a part of being anonymous. It sucks, but that's the way it is. I will teach my kids what
    to watch out for and what to do when this happens once they are on the internet.

    Not letting people freely express themselves, especially through something as meaningless as an avatar is a very shallow way of thinking. There are 2 (that I know of) transgender users on these forums. Imagine if they couldn't change their avatar.

    If people are trolling or bullying you, report them, block communications and move on. The tools are there to do it.

    The prevailing theory is that human nature desires for the self to. "LORD over others.". Yes even when loosing games. "I had you dead to rights and you won?? You had to be cheating." and Corporate gave such individuals the means by which to actually LORD
    over you. On Xbox it's known as 'Rep' and by way of instigating a negative responce from you. "Block and Report."

    In time this will all change. 🙂.

    Im being harassed by a guy name Chives. He has created several dummy accts.

    Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

    Report & block anyone harassing you via your console.

    No need to pay for a gamertag change,the tools are there to block people,you can even set comms to friends only if need be.
