    That is not a ping number. The smoothing helps compensate the differences between players ping and net speeds and tries to guess where a player will be in real time when these bullets are fired by factoring the different speeds.. the slider either lowers
    or raises that "guess" time...

    one downside to it tho.. you might experience some graphical errors tho.... like shearing and jaggies at certain area.... I would rather have the tree look funny than having the 15 bullets that hit this guys head magically disappear..

    This is wholly inaccurate. XBL requires 500Kbps down / 500Kbps up to function. I'm currently on ADSL with 20Mbps down and 10Mbps up with a 50ms ping - That connection is enough to run 10 Xbox Ones ALL without any lag or issues - in fact would appear no
    different than fiber optic (you only REALLY notice the difference with fiber if you use FTP upload or when downloading files). Fact is Fiber Optic is great if you can use the speed, however not once has ANY server let me download 60Mbps.

    PS... There's at least 5 companies in the UK does fiber, I've been with 2 already (BT Infinity / SKY Fiber).

    On topic BF4 now works perfectly online for me so long as you pick a good bar server.

    When I am in games it works fine I am not experiencing any lag it has improved quite a bit. However i am having issues sometimes when I go to find a quick game in certain game modes. Sometimes it will not work for conquest or rush then I go down to domination
    or TDM and it lets me into a game. The odd time when I'm in a conquest match and it finishes it can stay at the black loading screen for quite sometime as well.

    some people do this.. never use the in game quick match, let alone the server browser in game... fastest way would be to open the browser on the XB1... get to Battlelog.... open server browser that way... and join a game... it is as simple as Xbox goto
    Internet Explorer.. then refresh/search click join.. that is if your PC is not near your console... or you do not have a tablet...

    Not sure why the in game browser is shot.... but I have yet to have a problem getting into a game....

    I've traded my Xbox One copy now so can report no issues at all lol ;-)

    I've spoke to a few friends over the last week who still play, most have said it seems more stable, they have had a few issues with lag, few times the game has kicked them back to dashboard but definitely better than it was.

    Mind you, I still check the Official Battlefield forums and EA/DICE Twitter from time to time, still loads reporting issues on there.

    Apparently there will be more news over the next week or so about this lawsuit against EA, I really hope they get more than a slap on the wrist because I totally believe they must have known about a lot of these issues when they released the game, no-way their
    testers ( or whatever they are called ) could have missed all of the problems. If nothing else, lets hope it serves as a warning to other developers thinking of releasing an unfinished game.

    played all weekend.... no kick backs.. no real issues... a few why am I in TDM when I chose Dom... but that was cos I was lazy and used the in game quick match.. use the one of battlelog...

    one thing i did notice... when I did join a few servers... I was 2 of 2 in a queue... but was in the game in about 20 seconds... I did not see one more than 5 of 5 (Not including Op Lock or Metro. as those 2 are ALWAYS full)

    It is getting there... and like they said.. make sure you play with friends... broken or not.. that is how BF should be played...

    It's been completely stable since the December update and even before then the crashing had settled down a lot from the launch to that update. I may be one of the lucky ones but this game has been brilliant for me.

    It's actually been pleasantly stable.

    The problem has been server cues are full with servers showing half full.

    Multiplayer is fine for me now, just dont expect to be able to finish the campaign, I've lost my progress 4 times now, very frustrating.
