    Is anyone successfully using Xbox One with an All-In-One PC as the display monitor?


    I've seen lots of other posts about using PC monitors throughout the forum but haven't found one where someone is using an All-In-One. I have a media room where I will put an All-In-One and would like to connect the Xbox One to it instead of putting a second
    monitor in the room. I can't think of a good reason why this wouldn't work, but I'd like to hear if anyone is doing it successfully before I go out and buy the components and equipment.

    Is anyone successfully using Directv Genie Client with Xbox One?

    I cant get any of my direct tv boxes to connect correctly to my xbox one.

    Display & Sound in Settings kicks back to Home Screen!!

    The exact same thing just happened to me!

    "Under Settings, all the menu options work just fine, except one - "Display & Sound". As soon as I press the "Display & Sound" button, I'm kicked back to the Home Screen. The option never opens!"

    The only coincidence is that the last thing remember successfully using "Display & Sound" was tweaking "Forza Motorsport 5".

    I hope someone finds an answer to this problem, ASAP!

    A friend of mine uses ASUS Zen Pro and is doing great till now. After we found out how to hook it up in the manual the rest was just the usual stuff.

    Very good quality picture in my opinion.

    It's not a TV and it's not strictly a monitor either. It's a Samsung Syncmaster400EXN or something similar.

    This is a display with a built in PC, a very old PC as it turns out. The likely reason why it doesn't work for your Xbox is because this old monitor-PC uses HDMI 1.0. The Xbox One is HDMI 1.4.

    You need a new TV or monitor.

    Hi,

    Sorry, I think you've become confused by the monitor specification. This monitor is
    not a 1440P monitor. The '1440' in this monitor spec refers to the vertical resolution of the screen, but the horizontal resolution is 3440.

    This means your monitor's maximum resolution is 3440x1440. This is an Ultra-Wide 21.9 display. Unfortunately the Xbox One X does not support ultra wide monitors and as a true 1440P display uses a 16.9 aspect ratio, it won't fit correctly. It works on your
    PC because your PCs graphics card supports these resolutions, the Xbox One X does not.

    I hope that makes sense.

    All-in-one PCs sometimes provide an HDMI input that allows for external sources to be displayed on the AIO's monitor. That may work.



    HDMI ports on the back of a PC case (separate from the display) are typically outputs, not inputs.

    Xbox Screen appears only for few dialogues boxes

    I find my xbox one s working while set on dvi and 640p resolution. But no display on 1080p and hdmi.

    Just to add i am using samsung smart 3d tv aand also tested my xbox one s on 2 other displays.. one pc monitor and one more smart tv
