Is anyone still playing this game?

Seems like there is enough people that want to play this game, but are always waiting extended time for a game. I hope they fix this soon. It is really putting me off playing this game.

 

I play on US East, cause that's where I'm located, and I have had a time or two where finding a game took longer than usual. But I just reset my router and it worked okay. I'm thinking it's just a server thing and nothing to blame on your behalf, unless
your router is too old or not plugged in.

 

Yea it's a server issue but as I have said to all the AU/NZ players there are still games happening if your willing to wait and try different playlists. If your impatient there is always the Asian servers or West Coast US servers. It's not a technical problem
it's a population problem. It may improve when the azure servers are in place but at the moment we don't have azure in Australia yet.

 

I took a long break from this game and just recently started playing again over the weekend. Still very enjoyable to me.

 

Hope more of ye play down under. I just got this game so I'm noob. Looking for Aussies.

What respawn could have done when there are not enough players is to fill the deficit in the match with bots, sort of like Brink.

Or allow some form of offline play like offline squads play in COD Ghosts

 

Seems like. Matches are loading a quicker lately.

 

If you are new, most folks are currently in the New DLC modes/maps, i highly recommend hanging around the Attrition, Campaign and CTF lobbies as these are very popular. Also Marked for Death (basically a VIP game mode) is popular but availiable for limited
time only.

Try to make sure you are in the correct server (press X on the main menu to select the one nearest to you, the lower the number the better).

Also don't expect many to be on your server at 4am, so you may have to deal with a little ping/lag issue if you go looking in a server abroad.

Lastly don't worry, everyone start making there way back into the normal game modes about a week after dlc release as the dlc maps do merge into the original lobbies (if everyone in that lobby has purchased the dlc).

The real question is can anyone connect to the EA servers without getting disconnected?

I can't play online.

 

^^ I'm pretty sure it don't run on EA servers , try clicking X at the main menu to try a different one , I'm in U.K. And the west Europe server has anything between 35~80 ping , odd occasions it's been higher . I can quite happily play on US East servers
with 120+ ping and only one bar and still compete without issues .

 

I've been playing lots lately. What a great game.
