Is anyone else having unusually low download speeds on Xbox One?

So for the past month or so I've had insanely low download speeds. I'm writing this in General Discussions because it seems Xbox Support can't do anything about it. They constantly keep blaming my router and service provider when I know its Xbox. Every
other system in the house works perfectly downloading stuff. Phones, PC's, and god, it hates me to admit it, but even my PS4 is working just fine downloading it games and updates, yet my Xbox One is taking years to download a couple of GB?

I'm with Virgin Media and currently I have 100mbps download speed, and a 7mbps upload speed. Yet, on my Xbox One, I'm currently getting anywhere between 5 - 15mbps download speed, sometimes, if I'm lucky I'll get 25mbps but then it'll drop back to
10mbps after about 20 seconds. No other system is effected so that how I know its my Xbox.

I've never once had a problem with my internet speed on Xbox before so that why I'm confused, why, all of sudden in the past month has my Xbox One just decided it doesn't want to work correctly.

According to my Xbox One's DNS (Detailed Networks Statistics) this is my current situation.

NAT Type: Open

Download Speed: 6.18mbps

Upload Speed: 4,01mbps

Packet Loss: 0%

MTU: 1480

Latency: 268ms (Note: I've had much higher latency than this and it was working perfectly)

Wireless Strength: 75% (Please note: If I move my Xbox right next to my router I get 99% Strength but nothing changes)

I've tried resetting my router, and I've even tried Hard Resetting my Xbox and then reconnecting to the internet but nothing has worked. Is Xbox just having problems with its UK servers or something? When I tried downloading the "Forza Horizon 3 Deluxe
Edition 2 weeks ago it did the same thing, It got so bad that I had to contact Xbox Technical Support, and even the support guy couldn't figure out why is was so low.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with downloads speeds?

Help need asap

Today I am having issues with my xbox one x . I have very low download speeds .93 mbps instead of the usual 25mbps. my upload speed is the same on 18mbps. ANY help would be appreciated.

 

Have you tried a cable to connect the Xbox One to your router?

I generally find that places where companies cut corners on electronic devices is the wireless card, the PS3 had a shocking wireless card, I plugged it in to my router and its download speed tripled.

it could be that your Xbox One was one from a batch of "dodgy" wireless cards.

Just a thought.

 

Go into your power settings and select instant on from there you can power down and still download and you should be able to get your full bandwidth, I had the same issues until I did the above problem solved for me good luck and let us know how you get
on.
