Is Anyone Else Dissapointed With The New Xbox One Experience?

i love the new UI the only problem i have with it is the followers section and how when i block kids for sending me constant links asking for my email still remaing on my list really grinds my gears

 

Not really disappointed, only had sign in errors so far.

 

Until everyone is using the new dash, there will be issue's between new and old. It'll no doubt be better once everyone has the new UI.

 

Only dissapointed at no Cortana and my voice commands are all Screwy.

 

I have one console on the NXOE and the other on the regular preview, and must say I like the NXOE better. It's faster and more pleasing to the eye.

Don't like "TV! TV! TV!" and the social functions O.P.? Don't use them; takes a couple seconds to get directly into a game. Options will always be a good thing for me.

 

Nothing. really. new....just a. re-skin.

New would. be like. being able to. hide. stuffs. that i don't want. (ex One. guide.movies/musics marketplaces).

Home-games. marketplace are enough on. my dashboard but. like. previous. dashboard nothing. really changed.

It's. as. fast. as it. was. previously.Faster.,it. would. have. "a. read my. mind " fonctionnality....

Games. marketplace is. as "bad" as it. was. and the. DLCs. section. is. worst (yes,it's. possible)....

More. icons,more. seperate. sections and. less Kinect. (at.this. stage but i hope. they bring. back all Kinect fonctionality).

This new dashboard. is. like Cher, just one. more. lifting. with. the. same.old stuffs inside.

 

Cortana, button remapping, and my personal favorite...the ability to delete notifications. Seems a little more than a re-skin.

I used to have a second of the little circle spinning when loading up friends, etc.; now it's instantaneous. A second isn't mind blowing, though faster is faster.

I believe they will. My guess is they want people to try navigating by controller for testing; know if Kinect was working like before, I'd still be using voice instead of button presses and moving the stick.

We get used to things and sometimes it's hard when change occurs. I hated Windows 8.1 when I first started using it. I got used to it after awhile and started to appreciate the things it did. When Windows 10 hit I couldn't wait
to upgrade since I was never overly fond of Windows 8. It wasn't long before I started missing Windows 8 and wanted to roll back. I was comfortable with Windows 8 and navigated around fairly effortlessly. When my Surface Pro started having issues I took it
to the local Microsoft store where they were nice enough to replace it under warranty in store. They asked if they could upgrade it to Windows 10 while I was there. I told them I could do it later since I wanted to go back to Windows 8 anyhow. Within 24 hours
I upgraded it back to Windows 10.

The moral of the story is change can be difficult at times, but once we embrace it we find it is typically for the better. NXE is still in it's infancy and we are simply testing it for when it goes public. The experience we have
today is not indicative of what we will have once the bugs have been identified and repaired. My advice would be to wait to form an opinion once the product is finished and released.

 

I REALLY like the quick access to settings, messages, friends, notifications. I also like the added scrolling feature with the right trigger (now there's up and down, as well as right and left) and the quick glance to see which friends are playing the same
game I am. The cosmetic changes, I welcome as well.

To me, it functions like it should've from the beginning...in a world without Kinect (just saying).

 

I love the new dashboard and agree with what DocHolliday posted above.

 

Well hate me for this but I hated the 360's Blades configuration The new XB experience actually looks modern and therefore new. It's a little bit tarded at the moment but I've liked most of the new additions. I've had no gaming problems except for the
offline errors with MGSV TPP (Best game this gen) and BF hardline has logged me out about 3 times which is kind of annoying when you 57/11 kdr. I'm beginning to rant,,,,, I really like where the XB1 is going with this.

 

A Windows 10 UI has got to be better than that Windows 8 UI. Xbox 1 has an EIGHT CORE processor (or 2 quad core AMD Jaguar modules). When Xbox 1 launched, the UI was so slow it took ages to open friends/messages. But Microsoft has improved it since launch.
You can change the dash background. You can exchange voice messages between Xbox 1 and Xbox 360. Features which were missing for months after Xbox 1 launched. I'm excited for Cortana the digital personal assistant. When I got the day one edition Xbox 1 with
Kinect, I thought it was running Windows Vista, how slow the software was operating on a console with an eight core processor. Xbox 1 has an APU. Although it may not be good as some of intel's best processors like i5/i7, the more cores a processor has means
it's more easier to handle multitasking.
