Is anybody other than me having problems with Microsoft's over ear headset for Xbox one?

Third party headset makers have no choice but to wait until Microsoft releases the Headset Adaptor which suits the way in which this new audio technology is distributed to the mass populace. Microsoft are demanding everyone buys a new headset with audio
adaptor bundled i.e. headphones that are tuned to provide the highest quality audio from the Xbox One™ Audio Adapter. The Titanfall Ear Force Atlas Official Gaming Headset, Ear Force XO7 and Ear Force XO4 have been pushed back to March 7, 2014 at Amazon. There
is NO way we are getting Dolby Digital 5.1 over optical in the near future as it has and always been I suspect that Microsoft would have it any other way.

Is the Turtle Beach headset just a single ear piece? I just want a single earpiece for chatting, not the over the head with cans for each ear style. The 360 had this product for years, doesn't make much sense not to have a comparable product made by Microsoft
for the Xbox One.

I personally use two different types of headsets, over-ear for competitive gaming and movies/music so I can hear every sound and note (Wh-1000xm3 and Ear Force X12). In-ear headphones when my ears feel like the Sun's temperature from the over-ear one.

Thanks for the reply but alot of us cant wear full head cans.. I can't wear personally because they make my ears sweat and make me feel a little dizzy because of the pressure over my ears.. I prefer 1 in ear or 1 small over ear headset.. I know some peeps
can't wear full headsets or 1 full covering ear because of the pressure on the cartlige on the ear and or have piercings.. It's just a shame we have to get tethered by a wire when we used to have freedom of movement no matter what we were doing and still having
the capability of communication while doing it.. :/

into your Xbox One wireless controller. This is because the game sound is now coming from your Xbox One to the controller and then to your headset via the tethered connector, the same goes for chat audio.
