    My autistic grandchild is tempted into over $5,000 of extra xbox purchases......hE doesnt even use half of what he unknowingly buys.......XBOX is liable as they do not allow payment methods to be removed in order to maintain Xbox pass....... THey only refund $250 and are know continually denied refund requests..... they had it fine few years back now they masterminded a way to entrap disabled families to dump their SSI funds into their accounts instead...... They gonna need a real good laywer.....we arent letting this go..... therefore Im suggesting a class action suit as many others online are experiencing the same bait n switch......Bait for memebership fee to be switch and also used for unauthorized in game purchases...... we file in liberal michigan courts and take it from there!

    Spot on.My nephew is autistic & in the 6 years he's been on xbox live he has never spent a penny without his mums permission as she did a little bit of research & used all the tools provided by Microsoft to prevent unauthorised purchases.

    it is your responsibility to activate and use parental tool's that are available, Microsoft can only do so much, you need to activate a spending limit of £0, then they cannot purchase anything without your permission.

    Microsoft have all the parental tool's that are required to control every aspect of an account but it is up to the parent\guardian to activate and use them.

    there is NO legal route you can take as you are choosing to not use the tool's available.

    I have 5 kids and not one has ever spent something they should not as they are all managed with the parental controls and cannot spend a single penny without authorisation from myself or the wife. that is with a payment card fixed to the parental account for subscriptions too.

    as Microsoft provide the necessary tool's for you to use and you agree to all the terms and conditions upon signing into the service every single time, there is no legal standing for a lawsuit.

    also Microsoft have pre payment cards for their subscriptions.
