    Is anybody else annoyed by Rewards and Avatars apps being reinstalled on each system update?


    So, Rewards app is not working in my country (Poland), so I uninstalled it. But it gets reinstalled with each system update. Same thing happens with avatar apps (I don't use them, so I uninstall those).

    Dear MS, if you allow users to uninstall an app, respect this decision and do not reinstall it. If you think it required, then don't allow user to uninstall it.

    This was fixed on Windows 10 long time ago already (it also used to reinstall all apps like News, Sports, etc. on every bigger system update).

    Found the issue, if anyone else comes across this click on your Avatar and select Settings then change the default install from here as that seems to override the system one.

    Kind of annoying as I like to keep my C drive to Windows and core programs so it would be nice if they could fix games requiring being installed on the System drive

    Hi there, Microsoft Rewards app was a little bugged this month. I had similar issues a few weeks ago. Be sure the app has updated or try reinstalling the app. They credited me with some free reward points once mine was fixed as compensation, although my
    reward progress was still being tracked, i just couldnt see it. Hope this helps!

    Hi has anybody else also experienced system lock up and or crash after closing or using the youtube app? I have tried all of the usuals, uninstall/reinstall, uninstall reset system to factory/ reinstall. I always have the same issue, lock up and or system

    You can do this "troubleshooting method" i got from the gamer support, you can try reset and keep my games and apps this will clear queue, you can do this by going to settings,system,console info, reset, then click on reset but keep my games and apps you will have to reinstall my avatar, Microsoft stores, and xbox rewards beta i think, this method always works for me
