    Is Amazon Instant Video no longer available for Xbox 360?


    Hi there,

    Just wondering if Amazon Instant Video is still available for Xbox 360? I keep finding instructions online for installing it on 360, but can't even find the app on my Xbox to install. Is Amazon Instant Video no longer available for Xbox 360? :(

    Sorry, Amazon Instant Video isn't available right now.

    Last night when I turned my Xbox 360 on, I was asked to update. I no longer can use the Amazon Instant Video app, it states "Sorry, Amazon Instant Video isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/status. Error code:
    AP1001" I tried again tonight and it still says the same thing. I checked Xbox alerts and it says Amazon is up and running. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    "To watch Amazon Instant Video content on your console, you need:

    • To be signed into an Xbox Live
    • At least 75 megabytes (MB) of available storage space"

    "Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
    2. Browse or search for Amazon.
    3. Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.
    To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select
    Amazon."

    If you still can't see the app then I would recommend to
    clear the console system cache.

    It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

    Install the Amazon Instant Video app
