is ac unity good?

i've got no friends on playstation, so it's all gonna be randoms for me. even if my friends did have ps4's, i doubt i'd play with them anyway, i'm just not a big multiplayer fan. i'm just asking because there are a few achievements for playing co-op, and
if it's any good i might as well get the co-op missions out of the way sooner rather than never...your single player character goes into co-op, right? like all the weapons and abilities transfer over?

 

The release bugs have pretty much been patched out by now, I completed about %90 pre-patch and only got stuck in an awning once. People just love to complain I guess,,,

 

Unity came included with my Xbox when I got it but I'm just not interested in the French Revolution.

I've loved the AC games ever since the release of the first one, but I must say with them pumping out a new game every year there's no time to build hype or sometimes even complete the previous installment. Without that hype there's nothing really peaking
my interest with the games. I feel like all the annual releases made the overall main story so convoluted that it's just a nuisance now with Desmond and that animus machine or some such nonsense.

 

I thought Unity was well amazing and one of my favorite AC games of all time (I've played them all). It's my 3rd favorite to be exact. It doest mean it wasn't super duper amazing but AC2 still holds a special place in my heart for igniting my love in the
series and Black Flag was op. In my 60 hours of gameplay, I haven't experienced a single glitch like many people are claiming to have had. I found the story decent and the little love story in it was nice too. The co-op was pretty good. It's pretty much assassination
missions and heists. You can join your friend's world and roam about together. Coop missions are easily accessible via the pause menu. What would I rate it? SP: 9.5/10 Co-op: 9/10. Then again, I might be a fanboy but this has been my experience with the game.
The only reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is because the game has way toooooo many collectibles lol. Haha nah, they're not that bad. I loved the game so much. My overall score would be 10/10. AC2 gets 100/10 and BF gets 11/10.

Oh and for co-op wait till you beat the story and get really good gear before you go at it. I mean there are easy missions early on but I did them after the story(I like to be organized lol) Your character has a star rating depending how good your gear is
and so do the missions. So if you're 3 stars, don't go off doing a 5 star mission unless you have fellow 5 star randies carrying you.

 

don't really see why this thread was brought back, but whatever...i'm having a pretty good time with unity so far, i guess. it feels like they took more stuff out than they added. the parkour down feature is pretty nice when it works, but as is customary
with ac games, i'm constant getting stuck up on ledges and stuff. the skills unlock thing is super annoying. half the skills are just bombs and weapons you should just be able to buy from a merchant. gear loadout is cool enough having each piece of equipment
count to your level and give you some little perks. i'm kinda cheating the system by waiting for my income to come in, boring to wait hours for my coin purse to fill up, but i just started sequence 4 and have legendary brigand armor on my head, chest, and
forearms, a royal cutlass, and the duck foot pistol.

i am super *** that the ultimate armor in this game is just a skin. those Nostradamus riddles were tough as ***, and all i have to show for it is a trophy. i miss the days of doing those fun little puzzles inside the glyphs, and getting altair's bulletproof
armor was the best feeling in the world.

 

I need to start playing again. I took a break around Seq 9.
