    I have just bought the minecraft java and bedrock edition, received the online redemption code, created a microsoft account etc etc but now I cant see it to download. Do I need a game pass to download and use minecraft on my windows laptop? Thanks for any help

    Hello, AJ! We did the soft factory reset and at first it worked, but then we he tried to open minecraft, it said that he needed to renew his Xbox Game Pass, and he’s never gotten game pass before. And I know for sure that you don’t need game pass for Minecraft.

    Minecraft for Windows 10 is only available for the PC. If you've been playing on the console then you have Minecraft. You would need to purchase Minecraft for Windows 10 if you want to play it on the PC. Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title. It's also

    No, you do not need to upgrade to Ultimate. You only need that if you want Game Pass for console, pc, Xbox Gold, Cloud Gaming & EA Play in one package. If you just have Minecraft and want to play online with friends, then you only need a gold subscription. If you do not own Minecraft, then you can purchase it, or get Game Pass for console, and play the game using Game Pass instead.
