Iran IP for Xbox Live

Microsoft can't force a government to change policies.

Doing some digging to old Microsoft Community threads all the way to 2012-ish and then using some external resources like Wikipedia and popular gaming news sites, I was able to deduce that it appears that Xbox Live has never actually been officially available
in Iran. At least, not through Microsoft it would seem. A lot of the threads I was going through mentioned for the longest time Xbox Live was being reached in that region either through the use of VPN's or through various third parties to get past sanction
and embargoes on ecommerce other products in the region.

Microsoft, being a U.S. based company, has no control over sanctions and embargoes the U.S. government imposes on other countries. To whatever official capacity they had providing Xbox Live in the region, pulling the plug on it most likely wasn't their choice
in the end.

The Xbox community and everyone here on the forums most certainly cares that you guys have video games to play! We just simply can't control what happens, and we most certainly shouldn't point fingers and blame the company as a whole... I promise you they're
doing whatever they can about it!

If possible, I would try to get your message out to some of the more important people at Xbox on social media like Phil Spencer or Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson.) They'd for sure be able to try an figure something out. We're all here for you, and everyone
else.

Hi I don't really know!!! When there is a lot of Xbox live users are living in Iran then why Microsoft just banned them form XLive?!?!?!?! That's about the sanctions of U.S?!?! They just playing games!!!! like PlayStation users!!! I know that Microsoft
is a rich company and don't care about Iranians buying it's products! But if this bannig gets to long I'm sure all of Iranian Xlive users will join the PSN, so please help the Xlive users in Iran and don't disappoint them, thank you ��
