You should hold on to your old TV just in case something happens to your new one. Your new flat one may break and need to be replaced, in the meantime you'll have ol' reliable to watch until your fixed/replaced TV comes back. Or maybe you could put it into
a guest room or garage or basement.

Just to update you guys, i brought my Xbox to my office snd connected ir wired to router, it works so it has to be something with The laptop i guess

I know for a fact that the model you have works fine because I have one in the office. What you need to do is go into your settings on the Dish receiver and set it to IR (Single Mode) which is also depicted as the single TV screen for the mode when changing
the settings for Dish. In this mode it will be able to receive the IR signal sent out by the Kinect.

This was the IR connectivity issue that was fixed in April.... now with the latest update you've stuffed it up again for X1 Offical Headset owners.... way to annoy your loyal fans.

Hi Ape,

I work on the TV team and I have the RNG200N in my office and tested with it every day. It's possible that the IR from the Kinect isn't reaching your STB. You should be able to go through STB detection with brand=Comcast.

Can you try moving the Kinect around, maybe holding it 5 feet from the STB and seeing if that works?
