    IPv6 NOT WORKING! HELP ME!!


    Hi

    Hoping someone can help me with my issue.

    My issue is my xbox series X is not connecting to the internet via ethernet cable, i’ve been using a wired connection for the last 4 years previously on my xbox one and now xbox series X. My wired connection has been working since the day i got the nex xbox on launch and now has randomly stopped working. When i’am connected wirelessly it fully support ipv4 and ipv6 but when i plug my ethernet in it only mentions ipv4, NAT Type: unavailable and shows a teredo error message and says service info is unavailable. I can not access any xbox live services when wired.

    how do i get my xbox to allow ipv6 to run when im on a wired connection?

    ive already spoken to my isp and i have already enables ipv6 through my router settings, everthing is how it should be to allow me to play on a wired connection but i cant.

    is there any tech guru who can save me from my wireless nightmare

    The purpose of ipv6 is to answer the problem of running out of ipv4 addresses.

    Only a very small percentage of the internet is using ipv6, it is nothing to worry about.

    Try disabling ipv6 rebbot router and then enable ipv6 and run auto connect and little recommendation never post your D link scree. Shot with all that information on it as you open doors for hacks to attempt stealing information. Never show mac address as
    well as your encoded primary and secondary DNS address.

Specifically, your internet is only showing IPv4 instead of IPv4 & IPv6. Just a heads up, only your internet service provider can dig in deeper when it regards to this kind of issue. I will provide you with some troubleshooting steps this issue to be resolved. If the issue still persists after the troubleshooting, it would be the best to contact your internet provider for double checking and for the best resolution.

    Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Ensure that your router has IPv6 enabled and that your internet service provider (ISP) supports IPv6.
    2. Try resetting your router and Xbox consoles again.
    3. Check if your Xbox console has IPv6 connectivity by following these steps:
      • Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
      • Select Profile & system > Settings > General.
      • Select Network settings.
      • If your Xbox console has IPv6 connectivity, your Current Network Status will read IPv4 & IPv6. (To see your actual IP and gateway addresses, select Advanced settings.).
    4. If you’re still unable to connect to IPv6, try contacting your ISP to see if IPv6 is available in your area.

    Are you sure you've really got an ipv6 connection?

    Using your PC go to https://test-ipv6.com/

    It will run a test and tell you if you really are using ipv6
