    Ipv6 not connecting wirelessly

My xbox one still cannot connect wirelessly to my router. I have looked it up and it appears that because I am using comcast with xfinity that that is an Ipv6 connection which the xbox one cannot connect wirelessly, they said that xbox and comcast understand
that there is a problem and they are working to fix it but how long will that be? I havent been able to play my xbox one online in a while. Sometimes I can connect to my PC with an ethernet cord after i connect my PC to the internet and bridge the connections.
But this makes the online gameply laggy and too slow to play. My router is too far away to connect with an ethernet cord straight to it. So am i stuck unable to use my xbox one for years until i move? Or is xbox going to fix the problem with an update here
    in Feburary?

    :)

    Cant play multiplayer at all

If you have an arris gateway and are connecting wirelessly it is a known issue. The easiest fix is to use a wired connection. If a wired connection is not available disabling IPv6 in the gateway is another solution.

I've was having the issue from day one. No fix after being on the phone with Microsoft for 2+ hours and comcast for almost the same. Only fix was hard wired connection or getting an older modem. I returned my xbox one.

You can check for open NAT from Settings, Network and in that menu it will show if you are open, moderate, or strict. sometimes nat issues can be corrected by following the following link

    support.xbox.com/.../nat-error-solution

As for the IPv6, xbox currently uses only IPv4 and the usual fix is to access your router configuration page and disable IPv6.

LizGrizz01, please post details of the problem you are experiencing and describe your network (modem model, router model, etc.). The issue with Comcast and IPv6 when the One was connected wirelessly has reportedly been fixed.
