    IPV6 Needs a Disable Option


    My router, by default, is set to IPV4 and IPV6. However, IPV6 causes lots of issues in my games, and has done this since I got my new router. It would be helpful to me and the many other people I know experiencing this issue if there were a way to disable
    it through my Xbox One so I don't have to buy a new router for the second time in a few months.

    @taidara That actually worked for me. I also had to disable IPv6 on my Internet connection too (Internode supports native dual stack IPv6 on home connections -
    www.internode.on.net/ipv6).

    -

    Seems a rather odd thing to need to disable though.

    With my router which is a virgin media superhub 2 there is no option to enable or disable ipv6

    @taidara That actually worked for me. I also had to disable IPv6 on my Internet connection too (Internode supports native dual stack IPv6 on home connections -
    www.internode.on.net/ipv6).

    That's odd. is there no option to disable IPv6 in your router setting?
    If that's I can advise you two things:

    1. Ask your ISP if they can give you a different router model or brand (one that disabling IPv6 is an option)

    2. Change your ISP if they don't want to change your router

    sign in to the GUI of your Fritzbox, there is an option to enable Teredo. This feature is disabled on the Fritzbox, by default, but need to be enabled for the Xbox to be able to establish a Teredo transition between Teredo peers, or peers that reside on
