iPhone gets noticeably hot when playing on Cloud Beta. Normal?

i noticed though the slim does give off a little bit of heat and gets a little hot not much though on top of the vents when your laying the console flat. is this normal?

It is possible that using Xbox cloud gaming on your iPhone could cause it to overheat, especially if you are playing a resource-intensive game.

It won't overheat, no matter what game they play on it. Cloud gaming is nothing more than a same time interactive video feed.

All of the processing work for the games are done on the servers. Your phone just shows the feed, sends and receives input commands. Not things that would cause a phone to get hot, let alone overheat.

I’ll try it. I thought the Beta was the only one that allowed you to play cloud games on your iPhone? I have the GamePass app as well but I wasn’t aware you could play games through it on your phone.

In practice, cloud gaming's pressure on hardware is low, and your chips are rarely hot, within the normal range.

Is it on Android or iPhone and is it the normal Xbox app or the Xbox Beta app?

I've had the same issue sometimes. Normal way of fixing it is to uninstall the app and reinstall it: usually clears the issue up.
