    Iphone 13 xbox cloud controller issue


    Has anyone managed to get the kishi working on a normal iphone 13 (iOS 15.1.1)

    I can get it plugged in, and the passthrough charger is working, the kishi app says all it good, but firing up the xbox cloud games and the controller doesn’t works, there's no red light, nothing.

    I plug the kishi back into my iphone xr and it all works.

    Further investigation: the Kishi works fine for other iOS controller based games, so it's not that. Xbox cloud & controller appears to work when launched directly from safari, however, as recommended when you add to homescreen, and start *that* up, then the controller doesn't work.

    Is Microsoft aware that we cannot play xCloud over 5G on iOS due to overheating and device throttling?

    Is your device specifically a 5G capable iPhone 12 or iPhone 13? Are you streaming on 5G data? I am speaking very directly, specifically about Xbox Cloud Streaming and only on those specific devices. This does not apply to any iPhone before the 12.

    Any other streaming is fine.

    Mine suddenly started working for all browsers including safari now, not sure what’s going on

    Also I tried a series X controller and all it does is constantly disconnect from my MacBook Air and iPhone 13 pro max but it stays connected to the windows laptop. Seems to have compatibility issues with Apple

    Going to try a duelshock 4 instead as apparently works well with Apple and should work for Xbox cloud gaming.
