    [Mod Removed] is the gamertag and it happened three seperate times after he told me he was looking at my ip. at around 6:30 pm

    A guy booted me out of Xbox Live.

    I have been threatened to be booted offline and have been told someone knows my IP address and real address. How can anyone help to get this guy banned online forever?

    Indeed, WHY would anyone want to play with a person booting people offline??? No message needs to be sent for a report to be filed but, contacting your ISP is a good idea. You could try changing your IP address aswell---- REMOVE this member from your
    friends list then Block communications, Avoid, and Mute. Please file a report through your console and DO NOT send a message to this user again. GOOD LUCK!!!!

    Please don't post the gamertag(s) of the user(s) involved. The enforcement team doesn't read these forums, so there is no reason to name and shame. What you should do is file a complaint against the person, block communications with them and avoid them.
    If you haven't already, reset your router. In the event of a DDoS attack, it is usually best to contact your ISP and let them know. They can change your IP address, which would stop the attack. They may also be able to trace the attack, which would help if
    you are looking to take legal action against the criminal. For more information, see the FAQ on DoS attacks here:

    Unplugging your modem/router for a wile is very easy......

    Otherwise, Use the console features, Mute, Avoid, Block and report....

    Then, MOVE ON...
